Amtek Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based company engaged in investment holding and the provision of management services. The Company operates in for segments: manufacturing; marketing and distribution; investment property holding, and investment holding. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010, the Company had six subsidiaries: Amtek Garment Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in trading of garments; Amtek Shoes Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in the manufacturing of shoes; Amtek Realty Sdn. Bhd., a property investment company; Amtek Management Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in the provision of management services; Amtek International Ltd., and Power Wave Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in marketing and distribution of footwear. On August 30, 2010, the Company completed the disposal of acquisition of the entire equity interest in Amtek Realty Sdn. Bhd. and Crocodile Sdn Bhd, respectively.
